North European Oil Royalty Trust

In 1975, North European Oil Corporation was liquidated. The remaining assets and liabilities of the company, including its royalty rights, were transferred to a successor entity, the North European Oil Royalty Trust.

The Trust serves as fiduciary for missing and unknown shareholders of the Trust’s corporate predecessors, with responsibility for distribution of approximately 875,000 unclaimed shares and dividends worth tens of millions of dollars.

Commencing on November 11, 1981 units of the beneficial interest of the Trust traded on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker symbol “NET”. On January 29, 2002, units began trading under ticker symbol “NRT”.
